拿破仑·波拿巴即拿破仑一世(Napoléon I)，出生于科西嘉岛，十九世纪著名军事家、政治家，法兰西第一帝国的缔造者。法兰西第一共和国第一执政(1799年-1804年)，法兰西第一帝国皇帝(1804年-1815年)。在位期间称“法国人的皇帝”，也是历史上自查理三世后第二位享有此名号的法国皇帝。对内他多次镇压反动势力的叛乱，颁布了《拿破仑法典》，完善了世界法律体系，奠定了西方资本主义国家的社会秩序。对外他五破反法联盟的入侵，沉重反击了欧洲各国的封建制度，捍卫了法国大革命的成果。
